Eldred
School System
The Eldred Central School is a
K-12 public school district that
consists of the George Ross
Mackenzie Elementary School and
the Eldred Junior-Senior High
School. In general, the student
population consists of
approximately 800 students. The
district is recognized for its
formal educational program that
not only emphasizes the college
Regents track, but also values
the individual interests and
benefits of each student.
Athletics, performing arts, and
after-school clubs are important
to the unique high school
experience Eldred offers to its
students.
The George Ross
Mackenzie Elementary School
focuses on a combined literacy
and hands-on mathematics and
science program. Small,
heterogeneous classes and
co-curricular clubs are
important to the school, and the
P.T.A. offers additional
cultural programs to provide the
students with a well-rounded
education and educational
activities.
