Fallsburg School System
The Fallsburg
Central School consists of the
Benjamin Cosor Elementary School,
comprised of grades K-5, the
Fallsburg Middle School, comprised
of grades 6-8, and the Fallsburg
High School, comprised of grades
9-12. The district is a small
educational community that serves a
diverse mix of approximately 1,400
students.
Fallsburg's
Educational Mission encompasses
excellence in education and states
that excellence is achieved through
supporting students through a
positive learning environment. The
community is encouraged to assist in
restructuring educational challenges
to provide for a strong
instructional program that is guided
by the New York State learning
standards.
The
Board of Education recognizes the
importance of helping students to
meet their physical, intellectual,
and emotional needs; accepts
responsibility for preparing
students with the basic skills of
learning, social and natural
sciences, heritage, and human
endeavor; and acknowledges their
importance to the home and social
agencies, and establishing positive
values for the purpose of superior
education.
