Tri-Valley School System
The Tri-Valley
Central School district includes an
elementary school, intermediate
school, and an expanding high school
on the same premises. The school
enrolls approximately 1250 students.
Most of the students ride the bus to
school and some travel up to 45
minutes one way. Tri-Valley is
located one mile from the Rondout
Reservoir and six miles from the
Neversink Reservoir, which are the
sources of the Reservoir Project
that is important to the students.
Tri-Valley
Central School opened in 1952 and
has experienced many construction
projects to expand the school.
Currently, Tri-Valley Secondary
School is undergoing a building
project that has already expanded
the cafeteria and will further
expand the school and provide for a
new auditorium.
The Tri-Valley
Central School has a long tradition
of outstanding academic results
fostered by a proficient staff, an
exceptionally supportive community,
high standards, shared
decision-making, and a Board of
Education that promotes educational
innovation and excellence.
