The Town of Mamakating is located on
the southeast end of Sullivan County
and is the oldest township in the
county. Site of the Delaware and
Hudson Canal, Mamakating is a major
gateway to Sullivan County. A
popular area for outdoor recreation,

Metropolitan New York's newest
bedroom community. The future county
Welcome Center is planned for this
